Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10)

International Year of Biodiversity 2010 has been successful in raising awareness on Biodiversity worldwide through many events and supporting materials. To link the success to implementation of the new strategic plan to be adopted in COP10, a global action plan for at least a medium range of 10 years is needed. Significance and task for the decade will be discussed.
