The Regional Action Plan for Amazon Biodiversity is presented as a result of a joint effort between the eight Member Countries of ACTO to strengthen measures of cooperation, communication and coordination thus contributing to improving the livelihoods of their people and generating conditions for a harmonious relationship with the environment.
