This side event will describe how the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF) contributes to the Clearing-House Mechanism (CHM) by providing information services that support the implementation of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Existing services combining data from various sources will be presented, as well as their potential to enhance biodiversity-related websites. Last but not least, participants will be invited to express their needs which will be taken into account for designing future online services.
