Facing climate change threats to ecosystems and species is a major challenge for the conservation of Protected Areas. This side event aims to share Mexico’s experience in developing the Climate Change Strategy for Protected Areas as well as the project “Pilot Programs for Climate Change Adaptation in Mexican Protected Areas”. The side event aims to exchange views on ways and means to address climate change impacts and management strategies in Protected Areas.
