During this side-event, indigenous and local community organisations from IWBN-LAC and Regional Indigenous Program of the UNWomen will discuss about their initiatives on capacity building for indigenous women in the LAC region They will share information from “capacity building on ABS” focussing on what is traditional knowledge and asociated genetic resource, what the communities are doing themselves for the early entry into force of the Nagoya Protocol?
