Fourth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Review of Implementation of the Convention

At historical meeting of CBD-COP10, the parties to the CBD adopt the Aichi Biodiversity Target. Although UN supports its implementation through UN decade on Biodiversity, many challenges including the involvement of business, local government and civil society, public awareness on Aichi target and motivating action in various fields should be addressed. This side event will present new nation-wide campaign for multi stakeholder engagement in Japan, led by IUCN-J and program made by Govt. Japan as well as international approach from IUCN and SCBD.
