The side event will be jointly hosted by the GEF operational focal point of India, the Wildlife Institute of India and the Global Environment Facility. The objective of the side event is to share best practice on measuring and monitoring protected area management effectiveness using experiences from India as well as case study experiences from the biodiversity focal area program of the GEF.
