Eighth meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Article 8(j) and Related Provisions of the Convention on Biological Diversity

Local communities in the context of the CBD, are gradually taking center stage in key aspects, based on the document and the Desicion XI/14B paragraphs 17-21 of the Eleventh Conference of the Parties, held in Hyderabad, India. Your participation in aspects related to the provisions of Article 10-C and in particular the Action Plan involves creating an organization whose capacity and formalization process currently being discussed and for which technical and financial resources required for its concretion.   We hope that from this activity, we coordinate a roadmap that enables the coordination of activities that result in the International Forum of Local Communities in Biodiversity.
