The TEEB Water and Wetlands study has provided important information on the values of water-related ecosystem services to underpin implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity (2011-2020) and all of the Achi Biodiversity targets, particularly target 14. The side event will present the next stages of the project which will focus on mainstreaming and capacity development including policy development, accounting and financing.
