The side event will feature a presentation of a new report on the impacts of livestock and fodder production on biodiversity, indigenous peoples and local communities in Paraguay, the country with the highest deforestation rates on Earth. It will discuss how the effective implementation of Aichi target 3 could contribute to mitigating the negative effects of unsustainable livestock production.
