This side event will include the presentation and discussion of the key findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Fifth Overall Performance Study of the Global Environment Facility: At the Crossroads for Higher Impact. The side event will address, among other topics the GEF performance in the mobilization of resources, relevancy of GEF support to the CBD and other environmental conventions, the state of the GEF partnership, GEF efficiency, and the outcomes and impacts of GEF support. The event will consist of a presentation followed by a discussion. The Overall Performance Study is a comprehensive evaluation that is carried out by the GEF Independent Evaluation Office as an input to the GEF replenishment process every four years.
