Twelfth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity

Conserving biodiversity and guaranteeing its sustainable use in the East Asian region require the creation and operation of an institutional network that can perform collaborative research and conservation activities. Therefore, 8 institutions from 5 countries of Korea, China(Taiwan), Japan, Russia and Mongolia need to build the Biodiversity Conservation Network as a base in East Asia.
