o Purposes - To build a social consensus to urge the UN to designate "World National Parks and Protected Areas Day" - To strengthen the importance of National Parks and Protected Areas in achieving Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) - To refocus the role and direction of protected areas(national parks) through presentations and discussions on best practices of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation, and to establish cooperation networks among national park agencies/regions o Main Contents - Present the concept and meaning of designating "World National Parks and Protected Areas Day" - Carrying out discussions and drawing important messages about National Parks and Protected Areas for Sustainable Development - Sharing best practices of sustainable development and biodiversity conservation - Strengthening regional networks and developing cooperative activities
