Nineteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice

UNEP DELC, in collaboration with UNE-WCMC, is developing the second edition of the Regional State of Biodiversity Reports in Africa, Asia-Pacific, West Asia and Latin America and Caribbean, which is a mid-term review of progress towards implementation of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity 2011-2020 and its Aichi Biodiversity Targets for countries. The reports complement the fourth edition of the Global Biodiversity Outlook (GBO-4), a CBD flagship publication. Expected outcomes: To officially launch the reports and provide an opportunity for the CBD national focal points and other SBSTTA participants know the contents of the report. To reach a wide media coverage on UNEP’s support to the respective regions related to biodiversity and ecosystems.
