The ABS-CH team invites you to participate in a hands-on interactive training session on the Access Benefit-Sharing Clearing-House. The ABS Clearing-House (https://absch.cbd.int/) is a platform for exchanging information on access and benefit-sharing established by Article 14 of the Nagoya Protocol. It is a key tool for facilitating the implementation of the Protocol, by enhancing legal certainty and transparency on procedures for access, and for monitoring the utilization of genetic resources. During this introductory training session you will learn how to setup and manage your own CBD account, find information and register information in the ABS Clearing-House. Participants will get familiar with the main functionalities of the ABS-CH and take a guided tour of the website and some of the innovative features. Please bring your tablet or laptop, computers will not be provided.
