Nineteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice

The International Partnership for the Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) has been recognized for its potential and actual contributions to biodiversity conservation in decisions of every CBD COP since 2010, and its membership has been involved in a wide variety of activities for resource mobilization, capacity building, knowledge sharing, and others. Activities highlighted in this side event will include funding for effective projects under the Satoyama Development Mechanism (SDM), collection and synthesis of case studies from around the world, and the “Indicators of Resilience in Socio-ecological Production Landscapes and Seascapes”. Light refreshments will be served.
