Dear Madam/Sir, I have the honour to refer to notification Ref.: SCBD/I&0/CHM/MS/45933 (http://www.biodiv.org/doc/notifications/2005/ntf-2005-006-chm-en.pdf), dated 18 January 2005, which conveyed a note on a technical workshop on the development of regional Clearing-House Mechanisms, to be held in Bucharest, Romania, on 23 to 25 February 2005. I am pleased to inform Parties that the selection of participants to the above meeting has been completed. The selection of experts was based on nominations by Parties, taking into account the nominee’s expertise and experience in the field of web-based technologies and technical and scientific cooperation as well as geographical distribution and gender balance.
