The Virtual Library hosts a wide variety of resources relevant to transboundary cooperation, protected areas, peace parks and biodiversity, including books, documents, capacity-building materials, meeting or conference proceedings, videos, news services, websites, and databases, etc. Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity also share knowledge and best practices in transboundary cooperation. Countries, international and non-governmental organizations, research institutions and business local communities can share through this platform relevant information.

Anyone with a CBD account can upload information to the Virtual Library. Click here to get a CBD account. When registering a record, users are encouraged to select the relevant thematic areas for the resource being included.
