Tara Oceans Exhibition
The Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie is proud to host an educational exhibit presented by Tara Expeditions. The exhibit, opening on March 23rd 2010 and on display for a few months, will introduce the Tara Oceans expedition and its goal, which is none other than improving scientific knowledge about the micro-organisms populating the oceans of the globe - a marine life responsible for half of our planet's oxygen production.

Worldwide Save Loktak Lake Campaign
The Centre for Environmental Education and Research (NECEER), Imphal organised a Worldwide Save Loktak Lake Campaign at 20 cities in 3 continents. The campaign is an attempt to create awareness about the threats and need for conserving this natural heritage of Manipur. NECEER, Imphal has been organising campaigns for the conservation of endangered species and fragile ecosystems of Manipur for the last few years.

The Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity
This is a new resource centre for anyone with an interest in UK natural history. The Centre is situated in the Natural History Museum's new Darwin Centre. Visitors will be able to access over 10,000 drawers of plants and animals collected in the UK. Scientists from the Identification and Advisory Service will also be on hand. The Centre will respond to people's concerns about threats to UK biodiversity by taking a lead in the national citizen science debate and by actively leading partnership projects.
