Australia’s Invasive Species Council celebrates the International Day of Biodiversity 2009
The
Invasive Species Council (ISC) is an independent, non-government organisation set up to campaign and advocate to stop further invasions, and to contain invading species already present.
In the lead up to the International Day of Biodiversity 2009, Australia’s Invasive Species Council has brought together 18 state and national environment NGOs to form the
Stop Invasive Species Alliance (SISA).
SISA, its website (
stopinvasives.org.au) and the SISA Declaration will be formally launched on 22nd May 2009.
