The Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) Islamabad, a subsidiary organization of Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) Islamabad, working under the Ministry of Science and Technology, is organizing the International Day for Biological Diversity 2013 in collaboration with PSF and ICIMOD (International Centre for Integrated Mountains Development) on 22 May 2013 at PMNH, Garden Avenue, H-7 Shakarparian, Islamabad.
Dr. Sania Nishtar, Federal Minister for Science and Technology is the Chief Guest of the ceremony. A full Day programme covers an Inaugural Session beginning with the visit of the Museum Galleries meeting school students contesting for poster competition and nature photography competition. Speeches by School Students, Researchers, Conservationists, Development Professionals and Policy makers. Experts and Professionals share their thoughts/presentations in the Technical Session following the Inaugural session (afternoon).
On Behalf of the Chairman Pakistan Science Foundation, Prof. Dr. Manzoor H. Soomro, professionals working in various areas of Biodiversity and its conservation in Research/Development organizations are cordially invited to join us in the celebrations of the International Day for Biological Diversity 2013.
