European Diploma of Protected Areas: the next 50 years, 21-22 May 2015

The event, organised by the Council of Europe, is hosted by the Regional Park of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli, to mark the International Day for Biological Diversity.
The workshop is sponsored by the Italian Ministry for Environment, Land and Sea and the Tuscany Region in partnership with Europarc,and will explore future challenges that the network of European Diploma awarded areas is going to face after 50 years of its activities.
Italy, with its seven European Diploma awarded areas, is strongly committed to make of this network of excellence a benchmark of the wider global network of protected areas. Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Regional Park is one of the seven Italian EDPAs. |
