ROAP is co-organizing, with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand, a two-day event to promote and raise awareness on the links between Climate Change and Biodiversity on 22-23 May 2007 at the Miracle Grand Hotel in Bangkok. The first day will focus entirely on links between Biodiversity and Climate Change, and the second day will focus on other key biodiversity issues in the national context, such as access and benefit sharing, biosafety, alien invasive species and traditional knowledge. The Regional Office will be supporting this event through technical presentations on the global and regional context of Climate Change and Biodiversity and assist in disseminating CBD resources for the International Day for Biological Diversity 2007.
