I invite Parties to submit proposals on new and emerging issues relating to the conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity to the Secretariat (secretariat@cbd.int or fax +1-514-288-6588). Following the request by some Parties to extend the deadline, the new deadline for submission is now set at no later than 31 October 2009.
