Pursuant to the penultimate preamble paragraph, as well as paragraphs A5 (a) and A18 of decision IX/18, I have the honour to inform you that the LifeWeb Coordination Office is now operational within the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity, with the generous financial support from the Government of Germany.
