With reference to the second resumed meeting of the Ad Hoc Open-ended Working Group on Access and Benefit-sharing, to be held on 16 October 2010 in Nagoya, Japan, the Secretariat is pleased to circulate herewith a revised draft COP-10 decision on access and benefit-sharing submitted by the Co-Chairs of the Working Group on Access and Benefit-Sharing, Mr. Timothy Hodges and Mr. Fernando Casas. It is being submitted on the clear understanding that this document has not been negotiated. It is proposed that the Working Group merely endorse the draft and forward it to the tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties as a basis for discussion.
