I have the honour to refer to Notification 2005-024 dated 10 March 2005 regarding the above-mentioned workshop to be held in Tokyo, Japan, from 30 May to 2 June 2005, in partnership with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), United Nations University (UNU), Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII). The workshop is being held as part of a broader symposium on the theme “Conserving Cultural and Biological Diversity: the Role of Sacred Natural Sites and Cultural Landscapes”- an Activity of the World Expo 2005.
