THE FUTURE OF FINANCING FOR BIODIVERSITY CONSERVATION A round table discussion of the future of financing for biodiversity conservation, with the participation of speakers from the CBD Secretariat, FAO, GEF, IUCN, the German Ministry for the Environment, TNC, and WWF. The discussion will be based on the presentation of several WWF reviews of the state and future of financing for conservation, including the report "A Review of International Financing Mechanisms for Biodiversity Conservation. With a Special Focus on the International Financing of Developing Countries Protected Areas," currently available as a meeting information document (UNEP/CBD/WG-PA/INF8) and the report Public Funds for Protected Areas.
