This side event will present the results of the Global Open Oceans and Deep Seas Regionalisation (GOODS). It will discuss the process of developing the bioregionalisation, (including expert meetings in Ottawa, Mexico City and the Azores), as well as the proposed next steps. The side event will also seek to get input from the participants in regards to the use and further development of the bioregionalisation. This side event is linked to agenda item 4.1.
