The Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources, the first ever international framework to promote the wise management of animal genetic resources for food and agriculture, was adopted by an intergovernmental forum in September 2007 in Interlaken, Switzerland. Representatives from governments and NGOs will reflect on the Global Plan of Action and its implementation.
