Producing fuels from plants and crops mean not only relevant inputs of fossil energy, but also relevant emission of N2O. N2O is a greenhouse gas much more potent and durable than CO2. Responsible science as good as responsible energy policy has to look at the impact of N2O-releases. Speaker: Prof. Dr. Wilfried Winiwarter, Austrian Research Centers, systems research, Vienna
