This side event is a Tri-National effort of the governments of Malaysia, Republic of Indonesia and Republic of the Philippines to promote biodiversity conservation in the two major sea basins, the Sulu and Sulawesi Seas. The event would highlight support and committment of the three countries towards biodiversity conservation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
