Fourth meeting of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety (BS COP MOP 4)

The event will have African scientists sharing their experiences and challenges in the development and implementation of NBFs in Southern Africa, and discussing their capacity buiding needs in risk assessment and management. A represantative from Ministry of Environment in the Netherlands will also discuss how the EU sees risk assessment in relation to identification, liabilitry and redress for risk assessment, capacity buiding, and identification of risk assessment needs. This will be in form of introductions by the presenters and a panel discussion forum information exchange with the participating delegates.
