This side event, will present the main findings of the Global Biodiversity Outlook-3, drawing upon the analysis of CBD Indicators by the authours of the paper recently published in Science (Butchart et al, April 29th). The event will also provide an introduction to a study of projections of 21st century changes in biodiversity and associated ecosystem services, and examine implications of the GBO3 for the future Strategic Plan of the Convention.
