<br>David T. Suzuki PhD, Chair of the David Suzuki Foundation, is an award-winning scientist, environmentalist and broadcaster. <br><br> During this event, Dr. Suzuki will present the film “Journey Into New Worlds”. This one-hour film is the first in the series of 4 documentaries prepared by Dr. Suzuki that follow his personal journey to discover a new vision of the Earth and our place on it. He contrasts the past half-century of the amazing advances in science and technology with the need to reconnect to the spirit that balances the human place in nature. In this first episode his journey takes him to Arizona, England, Massachusetts and the Pacific Northwest rainforest where he learns that today many scientists are finding ways to look at wholeness, relationships, interconnection, studying a world endlessly diverse that is constantly changing and communicating. <br><br> This film is thoughtful, revelatory, eye-opening, brain opening and leaves the viewer with a sense of wonder for life in all its diversity and magnificence. <br><br> The other 3 episodes continue the journey through “The Matrix of Life”, “The Fire of Creation” and “Coming Home”.
