Tenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP 10)

The event will highlight the work of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC). The GSTC is an international membership council that aims to foster the increased knowledge and understanding of sustainable tourism practices and the adoption of universal sustainable tourism principles. At the core of the proposed organization is a mission to improve tourism’s potential to be a driver of positive conservation and economic development for communities and businesses around the world and a tool for poverty alleviation. This side event will include references to major tourism related updates for the CBD.
