GLOBAL BIODIVERSITY OUTLOOK-3: BIODIVERSITY FUTURES FOR THE 21ST CENTURY

This side event, jointly organised by DIVERSITAS and UNEP-WCMC, will present the main findings of the Global Biodiversity Outlook-3, and the associated study: "Biodiversity Scenarios: projections of 21st century changes in biodiversity and associated ecosystem services". This assessment is based on an analysis of a broad range of published models, experiments and observations. At this side event, lead authors will present their key conclusions, on: -Projections of the impact of global change on biodiversity for the 21st century, including thresholds and tipping points; -Actions that can be undertaken to reduce biodiversity loss and changes.
