<p>This side event marks the conclusion of the preparation of the Explanatory Guide to the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety, already available in English, French and Russian. The Spanish version of the Guide will be available -and launched- at the side event. </p><p>IUCN, FIELD and WRI, partners in the development of this Guide, will make brief remarks. </p><p>Representatives of agencies and institutions having supported the preparation of the Guide will be present. </p><p>A limited number of all language versions of the Guide will be available.
