Meeting
Sixteenth meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice

While there is an agreement the biodiversity knowledge needs to become widespread, there is little agreement on how that transfer of knowledge can occur at lower education level.This event will propose the collaborative development of one way that this could be achieved through the education system, by ensuring that both teachers and students are provided with all the information that could need in the form of drop-in modules that could either be pre-adapted or teacher-adapted for specific courses. Although the first module is being developed in response to local needs, other versions and templates can be constructed and exchanged to provide global interactive reach, in line with CBD CEPA recommendations. Prospective panelists: Oliver Hillel, CBD; Dr. Jan Adamowski, IWRM, McGill; Doris Miller, Nature Connection; Jochen Jeager, Concordia University;
