This side event will present the state-of-play with remote sensing activities for biodiversity, including the European Copernicus Programme and work of the European Space Agency and UNEP-WCMC. There will be an opportunity for participants to discuss user requirements and services for biodiversity conservation as well as the future of remote sensing for biodiversity monitoring.
