We are pleased to report that the CEPA Fair on experiences and best practices in Communication, Education and Public Awareness was held during COP-11, 8-19 October 2012, in Hyderabad, India. The CEPA Fair provides a unique opportunity for Parties and organizations to highlight their work and their contribution to the implementation of the three objectives of the Convention on Biological Diversity. In keeping with the spirit of the global celebrations of the United Nations Decade on Biodiversity, the Secretariat is honoured to have this occasion to share with the rest of the world the work of these partners whose work in Communication Education and Public Awareness brings us all one step closer to fulfilling the objectives of the CBD.

The activities presented at the CEPA Fair represent the foundation upon which future work in support of the Strategic Plan for Biodiversity will be implemented.

The next CEPA Fair will be held in 2014, in the Republic of Korea.
