In support to Decision VIII/19 4(a) of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity on strengthening collaboration with members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, I would like to call your attention to an independent consultative process on a possible Global Forest Partnership (GFP), organized by the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), on behalf of the World Bank.
