The conformation of Units of handling of wild life with good handling of vegetal cover in Dry and Subhumid lands of Mexico are a good example of practices that in his mayority is sustainable management, and this kind of practice is not proposing in the desertification process and even handle synergies between the three conventions.
Also the natural protected areas in dry lands and Subhumid  have promoted the maintenance of the Biodiversity and diminished the advance of the Desertification process.
Between these two categories almost  20% of the groups are present in the Dry lands of Mexico, Examples like this could be take to the SBSTTA Side events.
