  BRGB conference to commemorate the International Day for Biological Diversity (IDB), 22 May 2015, Chittagong, BCSIR Laboratories
The Biodiversity Research Group of Bangladesh (BRGB), with support from Biodiversity Management of BATB, BCSIR Laboratories, held a one day conference to observe the International Day for Biological Diversity on 22 May 2015 in Chittagong. The theme paper was presented during the Opening Ceremony.

PRADHIKAR (প্রাধিকার), a non-profit volunteer(students) organization for conservation of animals and ecology, is planning to celebrate the International Day for Biological Diversity, but is looking for financial assitance to make this a bigger event. Please feel free to contact PRADHIKAR.


  Seminar on Biodiversity for Sustainable Development
Bangladesh Forest Department is going to hold a day long Seminar on Biodiversity for Sustainable Development to celebrate the international day for Biological Diversity. All forest officers of the country have been instructed to join the seminar and take part in the discussion on the key note presentation by Proff Mostafa Feroz, Department of Zoology and University of Jahangir Nagar, Dhaka Bangladesh.

The Seminar will be Presided by Mr Md Yunus Ali, and also attended by the IUCN Country Representative of Bangladesh Mr Istiaque Uddin Ahmend. Hundreds for professionals, practioners, and academia and concerned officers have been invited to celebrate the day.
