Launch of the Revised NBSAP and the Inauguration of the Molecular Genetics Laboratory, 22 May 2015

The revised National Biodiversity Strategies and Action Plan is launched by the Honorable Minister, Yeshey Dorji, Ministry of Agriculture and Forests in order to bring attention to the national priorities in biodiversity management, aligned with the Global Biodiversity Strategies 2010-2020 and the Aichi Biodiversity Targets, for main-streaming and effective resource mobilization and implementation.
A molecular Genetics laboratory is also being launched at the National Biodiversity Centre on this day to strengthen conservation science in the country. |
