Workshop on “Protected Areas in Europe: the next 50 years, 21-22 May 2015, Regional Park of Migliarino, Italy
The Bern Convention contributes to the celebration of the International Day for Biological Diversity 2015 by associating this year’s celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the European Diploma for Protected Areas (EDPA) to the IDB2015.
To mark EDPA’s 50th Anniversary the Council of Europe - with the sponsorship of the Ministry of Environment of Italy and of the Tuscany Region, and in partnership with EUROPARC Federation - is organising a Workshop on “Protected Areas in Europe: the next 50 years”. The Workshop will take place on 21-22 May at the Regional Park of Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli, Italy, and is foreseen under the 2015 Programme of Activities of the Bern Convention.
