Reference is made to notification 2026-043 concerning the Communities of Practice webinar series focused on mainstreaming biodiversity across sectors. The Secretariat has so far held eight sessions that shared best practices, existing tools, solutions, guidance and innovative practices which could support mainstreaming biodiversity across productive sectors. I am pleased to invite Parties, other Governments, indigenous peoples and local communities, women and youth organizations, subnational and local governments, as well as relevant stakeholders, including communities of practice, existing networks, non-governmental organizations, and private sector entities to participate in the next phase of the Communities of Practice webinar series, which will take place in September-October 2026. The webinars are scheduled as follows: - Agriculture – 8 September 2026 - Trade - 15 September 2026 - Subnational Governments and Local Authorities – 16 September 2026 - IPBES Business and Biodiversity Assessment – 22 September 2026 - Aquaculture - 29 September 2026 - Finance – 1 October 2026 Please note that these dates are subject to change.
