Notification 2017-131

Dear Madam/Sir, Further to Notification 2017-108 of 20 October 2017, I would like to inform you that, due to a limited number of nominations received by the Secretariat in time, and upon agreement with the host government, the Regional Bio-Bridge Initiative Round Table for Central and Eastern Europe and the Central Asian Republics, which was scheduled for 5-7 December 2017, has now been postponed to 26 28 February 2018 in Minsk, Belarus. The Secretariat regrets any inconvenience that may result from this postponement and conveys its appreciation to those Parties who submitted their nominations in time. I would like to remind Parties in the region that had not yet done so to nominate a representative to attend the round table as soon as possible but no later than 30 December 2017. Nominations received after this deadline will not be taken into consideration. Please refer to the notification available at https://www.cbd.int/doc/notifications/2017/ntf-2017-108-bbi-en.doc for further information on the necessary documentation and procedures to submit nominations.
