Notification 2004-040

The Conference of the Parties requested the Executive Secretary to convene a group of legal and technical experts to review information and conduct further analysis of pertinent issues relating to liability and redress in the context of paragraph 2 of Article 14 of the Convention. The meeting of this group has been tentatively scheduled to take place from 17 to 19 January 2006 in Montreal, Canada, and the Secretariat invites Parties and Governments to provide financial resources to facilitate the holding of the meeting
