Notification 2006-128

Dear Madam/Sir, Please refer to the Secretariat’s Notification 2006-056 (Ref.: SCBD/SEL/ML/GD/54988) dated 5 June 2006 regarding the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group on Technology Transfer and Scientific and Technological Cooperation - nomination of experts and submission of views on the proposals and options to apply measures and mechanisms to technology transfer and cooperation, which is available on the CBD web site at: http://www.biodiv.org/doc/notifications/2006/ntf-2006-056-intorgs-en.pdf. Relevant conventions and international organizations and initiatives interested to be considered for inclusion in the expert group as observers are invited to submit the name of their representative to the Secretariat at their earliest convenience but no later than 31 December 2006. It should be noted that, in the same Notification, relevant conventions and international organizations and initiatives were invited to submit their views on the proposals and options to apply measures and mechanisms to technology transfer and cooperation (no later than four months prior to the meeting of the Ad Hoc Technical Expert Group) contained in document UNEP/CBD/COP/8/19/Add.2 at their earliest convenience but no later than 1 May 2007.
